Mike the Moose is a personal project based on isometric camera style and story based short game. Entirely developed by me as a solo project, the tasks included :

  • Assets gathering. The game is provided as a learning project by Unity tutorials. The game was crafted with a new direction and goal to make it a story style game.
     

  • Game design. Inspired from the countless gaming hours, i portrayed an ideology of complete objectives to proceed to next area. Initial game and the 1st version contains a defeat the enemies task while exploring the environment and getting to know about the town.
     

  • Scripting. The use of Finite State Machine and Navmesh provided the smoothness in character and enemy behaviors. Other elements like story telling in UI, enemy defeat count, health and sounds were also given good attention.


    A simple yet fun project, was part of the university game jam with a count of 25+ devs. The game makes the full use of URP to show its clarity in colors and beauty.
